New Page

I made a new page! If you're looking for something frivolous to read and pass time, check out the small story i'm writing: 65 Tales of a single love story

The story is about a 17 year old girl named Ava and her childhood friend, Leo. They have been together since elementary school, and due to situations, live together in a big house just outside the city. As it turns out, Leo falls in love with Ava and asks her to become his girlfriend; but things start to change afterwards. Each time they stay together, Leo begins to have memory lapses, which happens ever so often with several black outs. Time passes, and things start to unravel: He finds out that Ava is not what she seems to be, and reveals a darkness and suffering that he had never seen in her before--one that had all been caused by him. Will he ever be able to save her?

DURARARA! X2

I just found out that season two of the anime Durarara! came out! I'm so excited for the new season. Hope there's no dramatic character changes though. Since my favorite character is Shizuo, here's neko shizuo that i drew a few days ago. Very cute

Painting

I suddenly had urges to doodle on canvas... Here are some of the ones I did (:

By the way, did anyone know how beautiful the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu (a classical collection of a hundred Japanese poems) were? I have taken quite an interest to it. It is a beautiful collection of a hundred traditional poems, all with their own lovely and painstaking story behind its words... Traditional stories never disappoint.

I'm sorry if the translation of the poem below was incorrect; I just scribbled what was on the internet on a whim. Ah, I found it quite surprising that it was only a few days after that I realized I had chinese, japanese, and korean writing on my doodled painting.

As for the painting above, I did this painting on a whim too after seeing a photo of it a while back... I'm not quite finished but this'll have to do.

New Page: TRAVEL BOOK

I had a feeling that I would draw many more sketches in this book, and so I've decided to make a page. Check it out at Travel Book, or click the tab above (:

Travel Book: Decent Sketch

I finally used a REAL art pencil this time (no smudge)! I've been using regular No.2 pencils for all my sketches, and it never looked as good as this one. 3B pencils are magic.

Travel Book: Sketch Update

I'm half asleep cause it's 2 a.m.... had time to finish a quick doodle.
I saw this picture once in a magazine, but I remembered it enough to draw a rough sketch of it. Amazing, what no sleep can do to you.

Quotes Project

I'm going to do a series of quotes which I will turn into drawings;
My first quote experiment - "Sometimes, the most colorful people are the ones with the most colorless hearts."

Travel Book: Sketch Update

I haven't been blogging much due to school work and business... I am tired of living *sigh*

Here is another sketch I drew! It's not much, but it's something. Drew it on a small road trip that got me bored out of my mind.

Upgrade

Well, I have been looking through my older photos from the last two years that I have uploaded on my blog.... ITS SO HORRIBLE AND EMBARRASSING I CANT BELIEVE I UPLOADED ALL THOSE HORRIBLE PICTURES

... It just tells me that I have really been improving since back then... Thank god for that.

I will start fresh in the new school year by posting drawings worth while, so please look forward to that (:

Hatred: a short novel

So, I just updated the next chapter to the story "Hatred" that my friend had started to write, so to those of you who are still reading, here is the next chapter!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHAPTER 6

Shoot! Our lunch.
I sit down in the second to last row, and guess who sits down behind me? That’s right; one Mr. Scott Guard. I pull out a book and bury my head in it to try and tell him I don’t want to talk right now. Well, that was half of it. The other half is that I was just too embarrassed for words. My eyes were all puffy and my hair was in knots. That didn’t stop him from talking though, nope.
“Hey, are you okay?” he asked worriedly “I didn’t see you at lunch and when I went to look for you, I saw your backpack but you weren’t there with it.”
He was looking for me? Wow, I can’t believe he was actually looking for me. I was thinking all of this and then he slid a note onto my desk. He was obviously done talking. I put the note in my pocket for later and started to pay attention in class. What class was I in? By the looks of it, I was in Human Biology.
I actually like the human anatomy and cells and all that jazz. It just takes me a while to learn it. By the looks of it, the first thing we will be learning this year is cells; the anatomy of it, the different types, and everything in between.
My brother thinks that I bury my problems in school work. I’d call him crazy, but, it’s probably true. I get tense and he’ll try to help by hugging me, holding me, anything to make me not stressed and it usually works. Sometimes though, I just have to read my English book, or even, do some math problems. Even though I hate math, I’ll do it anyways.
I couldn’t tell what was written on the board. I need glasses so badly. My brother says he will pay for them, but I refuse to let him pay for one more thing. The clothes that he buys me, and the food that I eat, that’s enough.
I finally tuned in to what the teacher was saying, and I jotted down the homework for that night. When the bell rang I went to gym. I tried to move around everybody, but for some reason they were being really slow. As soon as I got outside I knew that Scott was right behind me. He caught me by the elbow and made me walk at his pace.
“Why weren’t you at lunch? I was actually looking forward to this…” the hurt in his voice made my heart melt and I felt so guilty. “You’re my first friend in a long time, and I thought you actually liked me a little.” I look at him and I saw that there was a deep blush on his cheeks; I wonder if he likes me?

New Sketchbook Update

It has been an awful while since I have done this, but here is another sketch I drew in my sketchbook!

I was looking through some old photos my parents took in 2001 and there were a lot of great takes that I wanted to draw.

Photos taken by my parents

Actual sketch minus the effects

Click here for my progress/sketchbook page, or click on the tab above on my blog:
The sketchbook page goes from first sketch to the most recent ones, so the first ones might not be as good, but feel free to look through them (:

Book Mark

Turned a pen doodle into a book mark! I found this quote and now it is exactly what I thought too. Its a little sloppy, but here it is!

Verlaine: Song Quotes

I have just recently found this very calming song that I was quite attracted to, and I guess the band is fairly new, so not many people know of them. Nonetheless, I made some fan art, though the quality is not as good as I hoped since the website I usually use is down at the moment.

Check out their song here: "Lonely Survive by Verlaine"
